Hi! My name is Steve Brouse. I've been an artist for over 20 years and I love it. It is a passion of mine which I have chosen to practice. Just a few years ago I had moved to West Palm Beach from chilly Buffalo, NY. Even though I miss the friends I've left behind as well as the notability of being the neighborhood artist life will go on. I'm very eager to pursue this adventure. New places and new faces is what it's all about. I have met some wonderful people here in South Florida. I plan to stay awhile. However, whether physical or spiritual I will always move on. So far, one amazing instance, over others, has occurred to me since I arrived in 2005. This was when I acquired the role of an art teacher for The Center for Creative Education. There I travel from school to school in Palm Beach County and have the pleasure to share my talents with children from Grades K thru 12. It is fun and challenging to find ways to integrate the 3 R's into lesson plans for art.

My inspirations and the fuel that feeds my fire vary. I like all sorts of artists, being painters, illustrators, photographers, musicians, poets, filmmakers. I appreciate music, when I listen to music it puts me in a creative state where nothing negative will reach me. It is the best place to be. ART makes me aware of different boundaries each with a very brave person to cross one. I feel with my talent that it's a positive and happy experience. It is my guided spirit that has allowed me to present a much fun and whimsical view. This goes to show how my art it is a form of giving so of course there's always a return. That reward is making the opportunity to produce art again. So my friends, allow me to say that it is my art that comes from my heart and makes a message of hope for you.
